This is for one (1) quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) Snap Shackle Swivel Eye 5/8" Type 2482. Each snap shackle is laser etched 316 and stamped 5/8". The metric equivalent is generally considered to be 16mm. This quick release snap shackle has a full cast swivel eye which prevents twisting and line tangling under load. Cast refers to the snap shackles molten metal pouring process. Not to be used for overhead lifting. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions.
