STAINLESS STEEL (316) Anchor Chain 8mm (5/16") by 10' in length includes quality forged shackles on each end
The photos are of our 6' chain, this listing is for the identical type of chain except in a 10' length, with identical shackles.
This is a quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) chain specifically cut for anchor chain. The link size is 8mm or 5/16" equivalent. Included are two oversized quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) anchor shackles. Each shackle is 3/8" or 10mm as some of our current stock is marked as 10mm. The total length of chain is 10' measured before the shackles are added. The chain link is in the European specification style of 8mm (for the chain link size) and the shackles are marked in either the Imperial style of 3/8" or 10mm for the shackle size. The Imperial equivalent is generally considered to be 5/16" for the chain link size. The shackles are forged, which for load applications is better than cast. Currently our shackles for this listing are either a Bridco, US Stainless or Suncor shackle. The pictures generally show either the Bridco or US Stainless shackles.
AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions.
